To ease you into the weekend, here's a live recording of Mark Knopfler (with Dire Straits) playing the "Wild Theme" from his soundtrack to the film Local Hero. It's simply sweet and lovely, and Knopfler has always known how to make his guitar speak eloquently without words. It's also one of Michelle's favorite pieces of music from one of her favorite films, and today on our twentieth anniversary, this song is for her. Love you, my dear.
